Running: Starting Date (optional) - Deadline (mandatory)
Event Type: mixed (multiple classes), one class, Association Event (for specialized groups like: HEWA, AHA, Natural Drafters ... etc)
Class/Classes: Show Jumping/ Trail/ Halter
Restrictions:

You individual Description:
The upper form (Running, Event Type, Class, Restrictions) is needed to submit the Journal to the group. Put that form above the other information in your Event-Journal. Why? because it is the vital information that people need if they are browsing through the deviations. We will only accept journals that have the form on top of the Event journal. Every other part is individual. The form is only required so that people find the right events very easily.
EDIT: People, PLEASE put the above form on your journal entries BEFORE you submit them. It saves us a lot of time. Thanks!  ~EliteWarHorse
UPDATE 24.9.11: We have a huge number of show updates and applications and we need one or two people to serve as co-founders temporarily to help us get these dealt with. It's kinda first-come-first-served; NOTE the group with the subject: COFOUNDER HELP all in caps so I can distinguish it. You don't need a 'major' stable, but you should be established in the RPG game (like having been part of it for more than a month or two). Thanks! Next Saturday is the deadline.

We received a ton of wonderful applications for the Co-Founder position, and we couldn't decide on just one, so we now have three new co-founders to help us out around here! I want to personally thank every single one of the applicants for their wonderful applications; we really appreciate the time and effort! And now, our three new co-founders;

:iconpainted-ponies:Painted-Ponies
:iconjessa-bee:Jessa-bee
:iconhandstands-for-you:handstands-for-you

Let the shows begin!

Duties:
:bulletblue: If/when a note comes in, you are to discern which blog(s) it would go in, and categorize it as such, including putting it in the correct place according to date, discipline, etc. Obviously you must know a bit about horses to do this.
:bulletblue: You are to clear completed shows from the blogs about a few days after they've concluded.
:bulletblue: Answer comments, questions, etc. from watchers.
:bulletblue: If a note comes in asking us to change the deadline/restrictions/etc. in a particular show, find it in the blogs and change the required item.

Requirements:
:bulletblue: Applicant should have previous group experience, whether as Founder, Co-Founder, or other Administrator position.
:bulletblue: Must know something about horse shows, breeds, disciplines, etc.
:bulletblue: Should be well-written, using correct punctuation, capitalization, and grammar when writing formal documents such as refs or journals.
:bulletblue: Should visit dA at least once every two days, and check messages regularly.
:bulletblue: Should respond to notes and comments promptly and courteously.
New feature to enhance the descriptions of your event: Difficulty Levels for Dressage, Show Jumping, Eventing.

Difficulty levels are not a very common feature in event descriptions yet. More and more people are already searching for specific difficulty levels. More and more HArplayers go very realistic with their stables and start their horses careers at lower levels and work up from there. This Level System is meant to encourage people to add information on the difficulty levels. This will probably attract more participants for YOUR events.

The following System has been made for Dressage, Show Jumping and Eventing and combines the features of the most common difficulty rating systems from the US and Europe. The systems have been simplified and translated into metric and inch scale. We hope you will find this useful for your own event and we would be happy if you could note :iconfruvider: or :iconlife-d-sign: if you have further remarks on the levels.

We already have 62 Watchers, which is absolutely GORGEOUS if we look at the short time we that the Show-Directory is open.

Still we are afraid that most people don't know that this group is existing so it would be GORGEOUS if you could put our icon :iconharpg-show-directory: somewhere in your event journals.

It is not a must, but it would be a great help for us and also for you. The more watchers we have the more people know about YOUR event as well.
